Pemamek PEMA PBW50002 Plate Butt Welding Line

Butt welding line for steel plate, 1000 to 4700mm in width and 20 to 120mm in height/thickness, joins sections of plate prior to rolling into can shapes used for the construction of large scale off shore, 62m 800T, jacket foundations and towers for wind turbine towers.
The welding equipment is situated on a carriage that traverses the work piece on an overhead beam. The welder comprises of a laser guided tandem head submerged arc welder with electric induction pre heater.
The steel plate sections are positioned and held using hydraulic pins and a set of electronic magnets
The PEMA RC5200 conveyor system is designed to move and push plates through the welder. This machine is supplied with plate from the MIBA seam milling machine listing number 780670.
Built in 2015 and operated from 2015 to 2019
Product holding magnets are integral to the line and included.
